If you can't afford such plans, then getting an iPhone with a mid-range price plan will probably cost you $348. There is also the 16GB version offered and that would be about $160 more than the 8GB iPhone for most price plans (except for the 2 price plans mentioned above, it will be $0 for the 16GB iPhone as well).
For now I will give it a miss, though it is a cool phone to use, I don't find a need for such a high-end gadget at my current status.

Yeah. The price will definitely be more competitive when the other 2 service providers offer the phone. But that would probably be 1 year later.
i dun really think it's worth the big money. to me it's juz an ordinary hp. i think people wanted one because it's the 'in' thing in town, and they wanted to keep up with the trend. reminds me of the hello kitty trend.

Just a related story - There was a story in the news that when the iPhone was released in Poland, there wasn't so much hype or interest as there has been elsewhere. So, they actually paid actors to line up outside stores for the iPhone as a way to try and drum up interest! I found that amusing
