Quantum of Solace Review

Quantum of Solace is the sequel to Casino Royale, and it is Daniel Craig's second time playing the role of James Bond. Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale impressed me and this second performance impresses me further.

In Quantum of Solace, James Bond seeks vengeance for the death of Vesper Lynd. The main villain is Dominic Greene who poses as an environmentalist but is actually staging a coup in Bolivia. Dominic aims to control Bolivia's water supply and become the sole water supplier for the country after the coup. Throughout the film, James Bond is assisted by the lovely Camille Montes who is also seeking revenge for her family.

The plot is tightly-knitted; there isn't really any redundant scenes. And as compared to Casino Royale, I feel that this sequel is more action-packed. Some overly unrealistic scenes are perhaps the only flaws of the film. Though this movie is the sequel to Casino Royale, you don't really have to watch the prequel to know what is going on in the movie. Some of my friends who didn't watch Casino Royale are still able to understand the plot and enjoyed the show as much as I did.

I will give this movie 4/5, and would highly recommend you to watch this action-packed film.
