Google Malware Warnings

It is rare for Google to go haywire. But it went crazy tonight by giving malware warnings to all the searches it displays.

Click on the image to view it full size

As you can see, even wikipedia is tagged a harmful site. Haha... and when you click on the "harmful" sites. It leads you to this page...

Not too sure what is wrong with Google at this point. They will probably make an official statement of this after they solve the problem. And I tried searching for Google just for fun and guess what...

Google may harm your computer too! Lol...

p.s. Belated Happy Chinese New Year!!!!

Would you break into a shop just to have sex with...

(CNN) -- Police in Australia have arrested a man accused of breaking into an adult shop and having sex with blow-up dolls, it was reported Wednesday.

The 23-year-old allegedly broke into the Laneway Adult Shop in the northen Australian city of Cairns on several occasions, having sex with a doll named "Jungle Jane," the Cairns Post reported.

It earlier quoted the store's owner saying the burglar always cleaned up after himself, but the dolls were dumped unceremoniously in an alleyway behind the store.

"He has been taking the dolls out the back and blowing them up and using the dolls and leaving them in the alley," he said. "It is totally bizarre."

Police have charged the unidentified man, believed to be from the city's Manunda suburb, with four counts of breaking and entering. They told the paper that DNA samples had been recovered from one of the dolls.

"Following intelligence-based inquiries, we attended a Manunda address and made an arrest," police spokesman Jason Chetham said, according to the Post.
There are a few things which I find really bizarre in this piece of news.
  • The burglar was caught only after he broke in 4 times. That shows how loose the security is.
  • The burglar is being "responsible" for his actions and always clean up after his acts.
  • The burglar always have sex with the same type of doll named, "Jungle Jane".
Well, at least the guy did not commit any other serious crimes. I don't think the sentence would be too heavy for him. Besides, he could be mentally unsound.

New EZ-link cards for Singaporeans

The old EZ-link cards are used mainly for public transportation; personally, I have not used it other than that. The new EZ-link card promises more functions and convenience.Main changes:
  • No deposit. Still remember that you paid a deposit for your old EZ-link card? From now on, you won't have to put a deposit for the new cards. I believed this is a welcomed change; I particularly hate the idea of having a deposit in the card, as I really don't get to see the deposit again.
  • Able to use it for ERPs in the future. Yay, more convenience for ERP payments. Should I be happy?
  • More shops are going to accept payments via EZ-link card in the future. I think this is the most useful change made to the cards.
Adult EZ Link cards can be exchanged for new ones from 9 Jan 2009, at all 62 SingPost branches, 42 TransitLink ticket offices and selected bus interchanges. Child, student and tertiary concession cards can be exchanged from February 16, while senior citizens can replace their concession cards from April 1.
